Teen Culinary Class
“Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.”
Teens, are you ready for an experience like no other? Ed and Tina Carle of Cooking It Up With The Carles will be teaching about all aspects of food preparation, including taste, presentation, and cooking technique. You will prepare a meal that features an entree of Italian chicken thighs in a succulent creamy parmesan and mushroom sauce over egg noodles, and ends with a Death By Chocolate dessert that is to die for! Your envious family members may come at the end of class and taste your creations (if not yet already completely devoured).
In addition to the food, we would like to ask each student to provide a small, wrapped culinary gift (such as a measuring spoon, a dish towel, or anything $5.00 or less) that could be used for a white elephant-type game.
The culinary class will take place on Friday, October 14 at 2:30 p.m. in the Civic Center kitchen, and costs $15 per teen. This unique activity promises to be the talk of the Feast! Learn how to be a top chef so you can entertain your family and friends with your new-found culinary skills for years to come!
